Staging New Hampshire

Simple and Decorative Presentation Display Idea

Do you need a creative and attractive way to display photos for a presentation?  Instead of purchasing the standard foam core display board and using a typical easel, why not use something you probably already have at home. (If you are a home stager, you will have these items.)   You not only save money, you end up having a more professional and visually appealing display.

I didn't have a large frame, so I used a framed picture and I cut a piece of white craft paper and attached it to the glass to cover the existing print.  I then used double sided tape to attach my photos.

To finish the display, add a small table and some accessories:

That's a uniqueway of doing it. I would think for a home stager it would make more sense to do a video of sorts to show a transition or something.

You can also blow up nicer photos at Staples and have then put on foam backing inexpensively.

Sharon, very nice.  I like your creativity in using a framed piece and working on top of what was already there.  Thanks for sharing...bookmarking for my "Show/display" file.

Matt:  It would work for properties or any kind of info you need to display.

Heather:  This is for when you need to set up a display of photos, like for a home show or networking event.  It is for when you don't have the space or equipment for video or Powerpoint.

Heath:  Also a great idea!

Ginger:  Thank you.  It worked out well for a small networking event I participated in recently.

Hey Sharon: This is a very creative idea.  I'm thinking this would be a good display when I do my Seller Seminars at a model home positioned by the registration table.  Thanks for sharing!

Kathy:  Glad you like it.  Thanks.

Teresa:  Sounds like a great place to use this display.

Terrylynn:  Thank you, isn't everything we do staged?  I'm always in "make it look better" mode!

Sharon - great idea!  I use a frame that is not quite that big, but hadn't thought about adding to the display with a table, etc.  Thanks for sharing!

Great idea, especially for a pictue that has a crack in the glass that isn't being used.

Great idea Sharon.  I did something like this for one of the Parade Homes I staged. I have my business cards available at several locations throughout the home with framed "Simply Staged Inc." signs and placed this display in the lower level as to not distract from the tour.  It was sure to be seen as I placed it next to the indoor virtual golf simulator. I included photos of staged homes with the stats listed under the photo.  I also included some testimonials - people relate to stories.

I was trying to get people to think about staging for more than just "Parade" homes since it is still catching on in our area.

Great idea Sharon when you don't have a lot of room! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much for posting this idea.  I have a frame that I've been holding onto for too long without any idea what I could do with it.  I can't wait to get started putting this together!

Great job, Sharon. If you want to save the pictures, like I often do, use rubber cement rather than double-sided tape. The rubber cement allows you to position the picture better and it's very easy to remove when you're finished.

Posted by Russel Ray, San Diego Business & Marketing Consultant & Photographer (Russel Ray) about 1 year ago

Sharon, that is a great idea, very classy, love the frame. I scrapbook, so I know you can remove the double sided sticky if you need to update a photo. Great idea!

Michael:  You are welcome!

Sheila:  The table adds some warmth and depth, don't you think?

Cathy L:  How very kind of you!  Thanks!

Posted by Sharon Tara New Hampshire Home Stager (Sharon Tara Transformations) about 1 year ago

Maureen:  Thanks!

Cindy:  Even better, if you are making use of something that otherwise would have been trashed!

Michele:  Thanks for sharing your picture, that is awesome!

Cynthia:  That is the point.  I needed something for a limited space.  Thanks!

Posted by Sharon Tara New Hampshire Home Stager (Sharon Tara Transformations) about 1 year ago

Angel:  That is great!  Have fun with your project.  Come back and share a photo.

Russell:  I didn't know that.  I've never used rubber cement.  Thanks!

Debbie:  "Classy" that is nice to hear.  Thanks!

Sharon, great presentation!  I always have used the easel idea, but I love the frame idea too - fabulous look!  I always tell my staging students that as stagers everything we do has to be beautiful - presentation is paramount for us, from our marketing materials, to how we dress, to how we place our business cards in a house - just using the same kind of business card holders Realtors use is just not good enough... ohhh, I think I have an idea for a new blog... ;-)

Posted by Joanne O'Donnell (Chic Home Interiors - Stager, Trainer & EcoProfessional) about 1 year ago

Joanne:  I agree, since we are selling appearance...ours better be impressive.  I'll be watching for the post, so glad I could be an inspiration to you!

Great idea....I may steal it and use it for my own. That makes a beautiful presentation and is just what I am looking for. Thanks for posting.

That is such a great idea!  I love it...wish we stagers could have one of these in Realtor offices.  I love you display as well.
