Well, not physically harmed anyways. Mentally, there could be some long term damage.
Last January, when my website was completed, I wrote a post about the experience and how designing a website for a home stager can be hazardous. Steve not only survived building my website, he continues to host and maintain it and subjects himself to my updates on a regular basis.
Recently I decided I needed a new logo and this time it was a graphic artist named Greg whose sanity was tested.
Greg, of Black Dot Design, was very patient and created a logo that I am very happy with. A cleaner, more contemporary look that is easier to read is the result of his efforts. I gave him a run for his money, and he was able to withstand the pressure.

The logo has been sent to Steve to incorporate onto my website.
Next step...creating new business cards. I guess the printer will be my next victim!

Sharon - I like the logo, and I love your new profile picture, too!
Looks good congrates....
Sharon-----very elegant, nice, nice, nice
Sharon I like it!! I think it looks very nice and contemporary. Greg did a good job!!
It looks great! Less is more sometimes. Very clean and attractive.
Very nice. And... I love the title of your blog as it is so cute!
Kathy
Jason Thank you! The photo was taken on a recent cruise. Everytime I visit AR I will be reminded of my trip.
Diane, Charles and Kimberly: Thank you, I like elegant and contemporary!
Nicholas: "Less is More" is what Greg said when he proposed it to me. Steve made the same comment when discussing the website.
Kathy: Thanks. I do feel like I am torturing these poor guys when it comes to making decisions. I thought a disclaimer was needed!
Sharon, throw some cards in an envelope and send them over to me whe you get them! Great logo.
Sharon ~ I too like the "less is more" esthetic in logo design, and yours is great ... it gives a visual about your work, as well as mentions your name and company name. Great job!
I really like it Sharon and I love your new photo! How fun it is from a cruise!!!! :)
Sharon,
Too funny, I just posted a look at my new business card today and saw your new logo post! Looks like everyone is looking for new changes in their businesses. The logo looks great, I love how your name is shaded and has a great font style! Continued success!
Very humorous and fun post. The logo is nice and clean as you said. It's something we have to continue to do - reinvent ourselves huh? Our clients change and so must we.
Rebecca I will send you some cards when I get them. Thanks for the comment and the support!
Maureen: Thanks! My old logo wasn't really even a logo...it was a name and tag line with a house. The font was very difficult to read. I feel like I have a real logo now.
Cathy: Thanks. After my husband and I had our photo taken I asked to have one alone. I felt a little weird asking the photographer to take the picture...there were all these couples in line waiting to be photographed...but I'm glad I did it. I saw the opportunity for a professional picture and I went for it.
Michelle: Thanks, I appreciate the input. I really like the way it turned out. It's not easy changing, especially for us creative types...I'm never quite sure it is perfect enough to be finished. Your business card looks great, it has inspired me to get to work on mine.
Terrylynn: "Continue to do?" My husband is convinced it is ALL I do...between the website, the magnetic signs for my Jeep, the various attempts at a logo, the business cards...I'm always working on or improving something.
I feel for you. Having to tangle with three people for getting your work done. I have one person and that's my husband :-)
He's a retired designer and his price is right --- very right.
The logo is great. It's so much fun to re-design ourselves
Virginia: How lucky are you to have a husband "designer" at your disposal!! I've been lucky to have had great professionals to work with, they really were great to work with. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks Sharon! It is tough being a perfectionist at times! ;)
