This past weekend my husband was going through old digital photos on our computer. After finding a few "what the heck was I thinking" photos, I thought it might be fun to put a dare out there in the Rain.
I'm brave (or crazy) enough to post a picture of myself from 1989, are you willing to put yourself out there with me?
What did you look like in the eighties? It really wasn't a very attractive decade. Permed hair, shoulder pads, high top sneakers, banana clips, legwarmers, and neon colors were just a few of the trends.
Well, as promised...
Here I am with my bad eighties perm.
Now it is your turn...lets see what 1980's fashion trend you can represent!
UPDATE: 1978 photo added in comment section

Tara, you are gutsy!!
Wish I had something more interesting to share with you.....not on my laptop....
I'm with Todd! Really great to see how much younger you look than 20 years ago! Wish I could say that about myself, but no great pictures on tap that I can access.
Isn't it amazing to look back? I kind of like the curls on you but you certainly look more sophisticated now. You have not aged at all! I too have no old photos on my computer.
Todd, Chris and Judy I appreciate the compliments and comments, but... No photos? I understand not having photos from twenty years ago on your computer, but what about scanning a photo? Somebody out there must be up for this challenge...
No one has ever accused me of being brave... :) I'm too chicken to put my picture up. I'd have to doctor it up too much! :)
Sharon- I would just love to post a picture, but a few years ago, I had a freak fire in my office, which consumed only the photos of me from the '80's. ;)
Debi At least you admit you're a coward! Thanks for commenting anyways.
Elaine Don't you hate it when that happens!! Well, the good news is those pictures from the seventies weren't lost!
I need to find one...I know I have one, maybe tomorrow. The 80's was not a kind era.
OOOh, finally a challenge I can handle!! Me in 1987:
Sharon, you are a brave soul.. I am sorry to say - I just don't have any photos around here to scan.. I really hate that ;-) LOL, yeah right.. God bless,
Sharon - Sorry, but my 80's photos are so stunning that I don't want to make you look bad.
William Don't disappoint, now...I'll be waiting for a picture!
Sheree ok, I'm officially old now...thanks for the adorable picture...so cute!
Cheryl You could at least try to be more convincing with your disappointment! The "God Bless" was nice though!
Virginia How very considerate of you, I appreciate that!
Ok, off to put something on the scanner...... I'm game.... brb.... I can't wait to see other's photos!
Melissa Beautiful! Great hair! Thanks for sharing, as you can see not too many brave souls out there willing to participate.
Very brave...you look the same, good for you...of course except for the hair color and style...you haven't aged...
Patrice Wow...thank you! Very, very kind!
Sharon! Your bravery dazzles me! We won't go there with our photos - lol! And, your organization skills are to be admired too: "my husband was going through old digital photos on our computer"
Our family photos are in shoe boxes on the shelves of our family room! Fun post! Margaret
OK, Sharon! I lied about the fire. The sad thing is if you want to see me with 80's hair, I could put any number of pictures on here from the 80's, 90's and beyond! Big hair and I have been friends for a long time. So, here is one from 1982, when I took my Farrah Fawcett hairdo and added an 80's curl!
Margaret Thanks! I am very organized with my photos, but the photos my husband was looking at were photos he put on the computer, not me.
Elaine Wow, that is a lot of hair!! Thanks for rethinking your participation. Now that didn't hurt much did it? Thanks for including the photo!!
I'll pass on that. Actually i think i looked rather good. Just my honest opinion
Robert Sorry you won't be posting a photo, especially since you looked so good! Our loss!
No photos on computer, but I definetely had the "Farah Look" going!
Cindy Too bad you didn't post a photo, I'm sure you were beautiful!
