Professional Home Stagers Provide, Prepare, and Present
Home staging is becoming more main stream here in New Hampshire thanks to media attention and real estate programs on television. There are still many sellers, however, who are not sure exactly what home staging involves. What does a professional home stager do?
Here's my simple explanation:
1. PROVIDES THE PLAN
A professional home stager provides you with a plan. A professional staging consult will leave you with a complete list of suggested improvements that will increase your chances of selling sooner.
2. PREPARES THE PROPERTY
A professional home stager prepares your property. Your house must be dressed to impress - with each room's space and function clearly defined. A professional will highlight the positive and minimize the negative features.
3. PRESENTS THE PRODUCT
A professional home stager presents your product to buyers. A professional creates emotional appeal and perceived value that guarantees a memorable first impression and stands out from the competition.

Good advice, presentation is very important.
Short, sweet, to the point.
Yeah and then the agent takes all the credit LOL
Cute graphic Sharon and who can't remember the 3 P's when asked what do stagers do? Thanks for sharing!
Jeremy: Product labeling and branding and product placement in grocery stores proves that!
Lyn: Just like your comment! Thanks!
Gerry: Sometimes, but I work with some awesome agents who are proud to say they consult a stager!
Karen: I wanted to somehow use the "3 P's" in the title, but couldn't come up with anything.
Sharon, I'm glad to hear more folks in NH are "getting it!"
"Present" can also be pronounced like the "present" (gift) you get at your Birthday or Christmas, don't you think? The agent and client and potential buyer are the recipients!
Oh, yeah....and I was mentally writing my first of 30 blogs at 4 AM today. LOL I guess I'd better get started...
<sigh>
Sharon this is direct and to the point. And it's great to hear that staging is gaining ground in the East!!!
The three Ps! Great points Sharon and I am going to add this to the Julias list so I can add it to my marketing. Thanks for sharing.
Great post Sharon! :) How is Zak doing on the contest? I am going to hop on over there right now to give him another vote. BTW, you helped me win my contest, I really appreciate your help. I'm going to send you an email.
Sharon - Great points and extra points for alliteration! The 3 P's make it easy to remember what's important.
Hi, Sharon. Your posts are always clear and easy to understand. You have really opened my eyes to the benefits of home staging; it's hard to settle for less now that I see what the possibilities are.
Hi Sharon: Perfectly pleasing paragraphs! Julie
Sharon -- great well-presented post, and easy for sellers to understand. Good for agents to see too, so that they can help educate their clients.
Sharon,
Can U hear the echo???? I agree with everyone, great post for sellers & realtors.
What many realtors do not understand as yet, is that home stagers have the same goals as they do - create buyer interest on MLS & on site, sell quickly & for top price.
great 3 Ps to remember and easy to understand for a person who does not know !! ( oh ya they are out there !!) what staging is.
Sharon- I love the clarity of your posts as well as the presentation. We are still trying to explain just exactly what it is we do as stagers, and as each home and circumstance is different it can get confusing. Great post.
Kathleen: Very clever, I like it! Home staging is the gift that keeps on giving! I mentally write posts in the middle of the night, my mind never sleeps, LOL! I've gotten some of my greatest ideas just when I wake up too!
Kathy: Slowly but surely they are coming around. Not by any rate I would consider fast enough, though. Thanks!
Tessa: Thanks for letting me know that you find the post valuable! I didn't know what a Julia's list was, but then I saw her post...I get it now.
Lisa: Zack is going to need a small miracle to win the popular vote. There is always the chance of winning the judges vote though. Keep voting! I'm so happy you won your contest, that is great!
Sally: Thank you! I love extra points!
Leslie: I'm thrilled that you find my posts that valuable and that they have changed the way you look at your business. At least I know I'm not wasting my time, LOL!
Julie: I love your choice of words!
Maureen: Thanks, I think keeping it simple is a good thing, otherwise their eyes cloud over and start to roll back, LOL!
Sharon: Amen to that!
Shobha: Oh I know that they are out there...many of them of right here in NH!
Kathy: Sometimes I feel more like an educator instead of stager!
That was to the point....and easy to reember!
Joan: Well then, hopefully sellers will catch on to the idea!
This is the best post Sharon-I love it-very easy and to the Point!!
Sharon, great post. Easy to understand, easy to remember, easy to implement.
Cathy: And who doesn't love "easy and to the point" - Thanks!
Anna: Thank you!
