Looks like a good time............enjoy Sharon.
Roger: You must be sitting there waiting for me to write something, lol! I can't believe how fast you commented! Thanks! Happy 4th to you and your Mom!
You crack me up.........I just finished the dinner dishes and came upstairs to my computer and there you were...........ok, so I don't have a very exciting life!
Hope you and the family, along with the Teen Idol and Gidget have a great holiday weekend. The family is getting together on Sunday for a cookout at my brothers house.
Hi Sharon, great post about your local 4th of July events. Have a great weekend!
Sharon- I would love to see the Bike & Wagon Parade and the Candy Counter!!! It's thundering now, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Sunday and the beach.
Roger: No, you crack me up! My husband did our dishes tonight because I was attached to the computer, as usual! I'll be spending the weekend with hubby riding the Harley, eating lots of food that is bad for me, and watching the fireworks! I won't be spending the 4th with Idol or Gidget but I will let them know you are thinking about them.
Maria: Thanks! Happy 4th to you and your family!
Kathy: The candy counter does sound fun! I love that Portsmouth does the fireworks on the 3rd...it gives us the opportunity to visit another city on the 4th and see fireworks twice! Hope the weather is perfect for you!
Well have fun Sharon..............don't forget to give Idol and Gidget my best!
Sharon, one of the things that I missed while living on the west coast was the history that the east coast offers. I really do need to get out to NH this fall, I know my wife and i would love the leaves and of course the history, have a great 4th of July
Gerry: If you want history...spend a day in Boston while you are here too! Have a great 4th with your family!
What no grand babies at the fireworks? Great post Sharon!
Great post on the 4th of July events going on Sharon. We really enjoy attending living history exhibits like what the Strawbery Banke Museum will hold. Have a safe and happy weekend!
Especially smart of you to include parking instructions, Sharon! A very happy Independence Day to you and your family.
Sharon, If I had a clue it was going to be this hot out, I would have tried to make it closer to the coast...for a sea breeze...or anything with Vodka in it. Have a great fourth.
Debra: No grandbabies at the fireworks, this year! Their tiny little ears aren't ready yet.
Lee & Carol: I didn't make it over to Strawbery Banke today, but I did go to the fireworks last night and they did not disappoint. They are always spectacular. Hope you had a nice fourth too!
Russel: Thanks for the decorative holiday wishes! Hope you enjoyed your holiday!
Irene: Thank you! Hope you had a special day with your family!
Steve: We had a great fourth and plan to have some more fun tomorrow. You always make me laugh! HOpe you found some vodka!
Hi, Sharon. When you LIVE near Big South Fork, you have the luxury of hunkering down on holiday weekends and waiting for all the horse trailers to head out, as much as I like to see folks coming here to enjoy themselves.
It's usually too hot on the Fourth for me to work up much enthusiasm, in any case, and we don't have those ocean breezes that YOU enjoy.
Russel Ray said that he commented on 208 posts on the Foutrth and left his fireworks...looks like you and I were both included in that number!
Leslie: Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays. There are no gifts or candy or cards to buy. No one to "have to" remember to call. I love the fireworks and look forward to them every year. The ocean breeze does help, but this past week has been very humid and even the breeze didn't help.
