How cute!
And it's always bothered me that babies/toddlers don't ever "feel" the drool on their chin. Why can't they wipe it away?!
Holy Moly Sharon you have a chef in the making there!
In the first montage picture she probably saying "I don't need to measure anything you amateur!" The in the last montage she's upset because her souffle has fallen..boo-hoo!
OMG Sharon- enter those in some kind of cutest baby contest!!!
Got to let them start sometime. Had four kids, and don't worry about a little mess in the learning process..teach them how to feed themselves, pitch in during meals. Cooking is fun and something every kid needs if they want to eat. Cute kid. Have to look around for early cooking images. Real cooking is not a microwave or waving a magic wand and voila...dinner is served.
Very, very cute pictures. Did you take them? Is that your little one?
Donna: You are so funny! Baby drool is cute! In this case, he is just anticipating the wonderful food he is going to cook.
Cynthia: Thanks for the very funny captions, but one correction: "she" is a "he"
Did you think he was a girl because I used "Neena" in the title? Neena is me...it is what I am using instead of Nana.
Kathy: I got the idea when Zack was sitting in my kitchen watching me make pancakes and I kept him occupied with a bag of sugar on his highchair tray. I gave him a measuring cup to play with and we joked that he was helping me cook. When I remembered I had the paper hat, the photo shoot was the next logical step.
Andrew: I agree! I loved involving my children in baking and cooking. I have a wonderful home video of my three babies making a birthday cake for their grandmother. I am looking forward to my little grandsons actually being able to participate.
Leslie: Thank you. Yes, I took the pictures. Zack is my grandson. I wanted to take a picture similar to one I took of his mother when she was a baby. Here is her picture taken in 1980:
Hi Sharon, Too cute! These are beautiful photos of your grandson. Thank you for sharing your family with us. Enjoyed the post.
Yes, yes Sharon Neena, I thought it was the little chef's name...my apologies to the chef!
Sharon - OMG, Zack is drooling over the "Joy of Cooking." Tell him to keep his chin up, there were days when I wanted to cry over the way my recipe turned out too! He has many years to "get it right." ;-) Great photos.
A chef in the making! What a great shot (s)!
Gary: Thank you for such a nice comment!
Cynthia: You are forgiven!
Judy: I'll give him your message! I've shed a tear or two over some recipes too!
Debra: Thanks!
Very nice cooking partner... Too cute how old is he? My grand daughter is now 7 months... too fun!
Diane: Thanks! Zack is 4 1/2 months. My other grandson Jack is 7 1/2 months. They are a lot of fun!
Sharon
Oh what to make for dinner?
Good luck and success.
Lou Ludwig
Lou: We had fun taking the pictures. I hope he does enjoy cooking some day!
Sharon, I am much more comfortable taking landscape pictures...you can see the joy you get when taking these photos. Thanks For these cute shots.
Hi, Sharon. I just sent you info about Russel Ray's upcoming birthday party. Maybe you are way ahead of me and already knew so you've got your young chef busy baking a birthday cake!
Steve: I've always enjoyed photography, but now I especially find pleasure in it. You are right I do enjoy photographing the little guys.
Leslie: That's right, I did know and Zack and I were looking for just the right recipe!
Could he get any cuter? I love this collage! How creative you are!
Sheila: Thank you! I really enjoy taking the pictures.
