Most of you have met my new grandson, Jack. Sweet little Jack has been a bit of a handful for his parents... turns out he is colic. Needless to say, sleep has been at a minimum for all concerned. Mom and Dad are getting whatever rest they can...whenever and wherever possible. My daughter-in-law sent me this picture and I just couldn't resist sharing it.

Sharon: Absolutely priceless. Such tender moments for whatever reasons … so heart-warming. Thanks for sharing.
Aaaawww... I remember those days. My son is now seven months old and sleeps much better now.
Ah yes ! The rare moments of shut eye !!!
This is an adorable picture, and the little guy looks just like the big guy !!!
Congrats and god bless your new addition and your family Sharon :o)
Cheers !
Sheldon
Kathleen: Thanks! It is priceless, I'm so glad she caught this moment with her camera.
Catherine: We know it is just a matter of time, but right now it is so difficult. The poor little guy!
Sheldon: You know how priceless sleep is when you have a new baby, don't you! Thanks so much!
Really cute photo Sharon but surely you can't be a grandmother????????
Steve: How sweet of you! Not only am I Jack's "Neena" but my daughter is due for her first child the end of October. I will have two grandsons!
Sharon, oh my you take me back. My youngest had colic and until then I thought it was some made up thing in Dr. Spock. Poor people. It does go away about 3 months. I'm sure they've switched to soy formula or tried different ones. I introduced a bit of cereal early on too.
Sharon, don't they all look cute when they are asleep? Note the remote... there's some early training going on! lol
Sharon what a great pic!
Shopping for Toys $30
Getting Baby Food $20
Resting with the love of your life PRICELESS!!!
Janice: They have tried a number of things. Hopefully the little guy will get past it soon!
Silvia: It's never too early for a dad to teach his son about the remote.
Debra: Cute! I love those commercials! Thanks!
What a doll! He is really getting big. Sorry about the colic - I went through that. We used to give Shannon some natural colic drops from GNC when she was that age and it seemed to help. They came recommended by my OBGYN actually. She had used them for her children. Might be worth a shot if they still make them.
Sheila: My daughter in law is actually working on her diet and it seems to have made a difference. I will mention the drops to her, though. Thanks.
Sharon-you have 2 cuties there!! What a great shot and won't they love it 20 years from now!
Great photo of Jack and Daddy together. This one will be a cherished photo with a good story to go with it I'm sure. Congratulations.
Kathy: It is a great shot, wonderful to have and look back on! Thanks.
Lee & Carol: This will be a cherished photo for Jack to have showing him how tired he made his daddy. He will appreciate it when he has a baby of his own someday!
Sharon - what a great picture, I actually miss those days with my kids, perhaps because I was in the military and didn't have many of them. This will be a picture that all will love as the years go by.
Oh Sharon, that photo is so deserving of a frame, I LOVE it!
Mike: If only we could go back and have a day or two back to spend with our babies again. Thanks for the comment!
Cynthia: Thanks! I love it too!
Too Cute! I can only imagine how proud you are. (sorry about the lack of sleep, though!)
Sharon - I agree little guy does look just like big guy! Do they go to the same barber? LOL
This photo is precious. Hope the colic goes away soon for everyones sake. ZZZZZZZZZZ
Karen: I'm not lacking any sleep, lol! Those poor kids...things are turning around though he actually slept 7 hours the other night. Last night he only slept 4 hours and they weren't consecutive.
Judy: Thanks for the laugh! That is too funny!
Ohhhhh love this one. Our grand daugher is 8 months old and sleeping now.......bless Jack and all the young parents out there..........glad it's not us!!!
Rest well.........in a few years kids!!!
Anna: Thanks! We have been there and know there is light at the end of the tunnel, but right now they just know they are tired and it feels like it will never end. On a positive note, he did sleep seven hours straight the other night...
Awww! They look so peaceful... I hope he turned off the TV before he fell asleep, or the first commercial will wake them up.
Sharon, LOL. This is why parents need to be younger to handle the rigors of parenthood. But Dad is missing whatever is good on at DirecTV LOL.
Georgina: I don't think that would be a problem. Jack has been subjected to a loud TV since he came home. He is pretty used to background noise. Thanks for commenting.
Gary: So true! I think missing TV was worth the much needed rest! Thanks!
This photo is a treasure, Sharon! How fortunate you are to have it :)
Debi
Thanks Debi! We babysat tonight and I really enjoyed it! He is so precious.
