Summer has arrived in New Hampshire, we are supposed to hit 90 degrees today. What a great feeling it is to open the windows and let the beautiful early morning air in. Oh, I'm sure I'll be complaining about the heat this afternoon, my comfort zone is extremely small, but for now...life is good!
I've had a lot to be thankful for in the last couple days and who better to share it with than you!
Last Saturday night, I got one of those terrible phone calls...my dad called from Florida to say he had taken my mom to the hospital.
I spent the weekend waiting for test results and relaying updates to the siblings.
It was emotional, scary and frustrating.
Not only is she fine, they flew in yesterday to be in New Hampshire for the Summer. They are staying at my house for the next few days and I am thankful that her health did not prevent her from coming home.
I love you Mom, and I'm so happy to have you home!
I got an email this morning...another home staging success...house sold! It's such a great feeling.
I got a phone call yesterday from a new client who found me by searching google...thank you ActiveRain!
Tomorrow we are celebrating my dad's 73rd birthday. He's an amazing man who has worked very hard his whole life.
I'm thankful mom's health did not prevent him from coming home. No, only kidding...I'm thankful that he has been blessed with good health and is making the most of retirement, enjoying life.
I love you Dad, and I'm so happy to have you home!
I am thankful to be included in the 4D Ultrasound of my first grandchild, Jack.
My parents and I have been invited to join my daughter-in-law, Ashley, today for the procedure. I should have video to share soon.
Jack is due to arrive around July 5.
It gets better...Ashley and Josh have asked me and my husband to be in the delivery room.
I'm so thankful to be given the opportunity to actually be part of Jack's arrival!

I am extremely excited to announce that my daughter, Jaime,
and her husband, Jon,
are also expecting and we have grandbaby number two coming.
Their baby is due October 30.
I am so happy for you, Jaime...consider yourself warned...I will be dedicating an entire post to this news really soon! I've been going through and gathering photos.
That's it for now, I have a busy day ahead of me...a long walk with Mom and Dad, Jack's ultrasound, lunch at Mom's favorite spot, and a movie tonight. Like I said at the beginning..Life is good!

Parents are a treasure. Enjoy them. In the order of things we lose them. So enjoy and do not bury the treasure

Hi, Good post. Thanks for sharing.
Best - Sash
Sharon, a very great thankful family post. Thanks for sharing all that is going on in your life. You are much blessed.
Hi Sharon,
I got that phone call about 3 months ago, turned out my father had a stroke. It was mild, but he is a little different these days. It scared the crap out of me, and now, anytime I have the chance, I am on the phone with him. I feel bad I wasn't before, but I won't ever take my parents for granted again. I wish your family the best, and have fun with the little ones, grandkids are the best. You get to wind them up, then send 'em home with the parents. Muahaha! :)

Harry, Sash, and Gary: Thank you! It's nice to hear from guys who appreciate family!
Lisa: It's a horrible feeling. You feel so helpless. I tend to be anxiety ridden anyways! I'm glad your dad is ok and I bet he appreciates the attention he is now getting. I am looking forward to the grandbabies.
I look forward to hearing more about the babies on the way and there arrival. :0)
Wendy: I just commented on your blog post re: not having enough time. I don't have enough time, right now, to blog as much as I would like. I will be posting soon though! Thanks for taking the time to comment here!
Sharon-Enjoy the moments while you have them because life is precious and short. Congrats on everything, especially the grandma parts!! Hugs!
Debra: I plan to! Especially the grandma parts! Thanks so much!
